Finished first in the 400m IM and the 200m freestyle to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Qualified for three finals at his first Olympic Games in the 200m freestyle, 4x200m freestyle
and the 400m IM.

Won a gold medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay and bronze in the 200m freestyle at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Broke the Commonwealth Record in the 400m IM at the 2013 EnergyAustralia Swimming Championships, taking the title for the 4th year in a row.

At the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014 Tommy stepped up to win GOLD in the 200m Freestyle in a personal best time. Ranked No 1 in the World in this event Tommy has shown his strength and determination to continue to improve. One hour later Tommy won SILVER in the 400m IM making him the only Australian swimmer to take on two individual events in the one night.

GOLD in the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay with Tommy as the anchor in the event. Tommy dived in third yet confident he could bring back the team as indeed he did.

Tom is a supporter and Ambassador of AEIOU –
He regularly lends his time to supporting awareness and fund raising for the Foundation.
