At last, Fraser-Holmes restores Australian pride in 200m freestyle

FOR the first time in a decade, an Australian man seems certain to finish the year as the world’s No 1 ranked 200m freestyler.

Ian Thorpe was the last Australian to lead the world in the event, after winning the Olympic gold medal at the 2004 Athens Games, and Tom Fraser-Holmes is now likely to be the next.
